The promoter of Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank Inc. chief, Bob Arum, has disclosed that there are no negotiations for a rematch between Pacman and Floyd Mayweather.
"Unless they're negotiating with somebody else, it's not me," said Arum according to Phil Star.
"There have been no negotiations, what everybody is saying is with the incredible amount of money that they did last time that neither guy can make anywhere near the money fighting somebody else than they could fight each other," he added.
Manny Pacquiao took home $80 million while the undefeated American fighter Floyd Mayweather was paid $120 million for the fight.
As a rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao might happen, Arum said: "Nobody is saying they're going to do the money they did last time."
Moreover, 50 Cent believes that there will be no a rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao, cited MTV.
"I think that we've seen fighters hurt themselves in the fight to the point that they gotta fight with one arm. And they don't necessarily create the rematch because he threw his arm out," he said referring to shoulder injury of Pacquiao.
"When he says that he was hurt, I didn't see anything that would make you think that he was hurt prior to the actual fight or during the fight... He was throwing one hand more often than the other," 50 Cent added.
Currently, Pacman is in the Philippines and according to reports the Filipino fighter is on a break for his shoulder injury. It is not clear yet if he will continue his career in boxing or will retire after he recovered.
Meanwhile, the "Fight of the Century" between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is dubbed as the richest fight in the boxing history that happened on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It earned a record of 4.4 million pay-per-view buys that translates into at least $400 million in revenue.
