Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman is calling out Vitor Belfort for cheating during the combatants' UFC 187 weigh-in.

Chris Weidman accused Vitor Belfort of cheating. The current UFC middleweight champion claimed he has not opened up about Belfort's cheating past, but he could no longer keep it under wraps when he came face-to-face with Vitor Belfort at the UFC 187 weigh-in.

Chris Weidman told ESPN, "I'm going to make him pay for it," he added, "Cheaters never prosper. I'm going to make that little saying stick."

Chris Weidman, who is scheduled to defend his 185-pound title against Belfort on Saturday night at UFC 187, charged his challenger of cheating after a random drug test showed that his testosterone levels were reportedly higher than normal, according to reports on FOX Sports.

Right after the weigh-in, Weidman told UFC commentator Joe Rogan that he "left him alone about this whole drug test thing. But then we just found out during camp he had a 1,200 testosterone score." Weidman said that that he is 10 years younger than him and he has got a way higher testosterone level.

"This guy is still cheating. I'm going to make him pay for it tomorrow night," Weidman told Rogan.

The former light heavyweight titleholder, Belfort has come under fire over PED use in the past. He tested positive for 4-Hydroxytestosterone following his Oct. 2006 fight against Dan Henderson. That's not all, he even tested positive for his use of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) during his bouts against Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson in 2013, and he won them all. This obviously has not helped the situation.

Though the Nevada State Athletic Commission gave Belfort an exemption at that time for the use of TRT, it banned the practice in Feb. 2014.

Belfort, on the other hand continues to ignore the accusations of cheating and remains focused on his title shot.

Vitor Belfort told Rogan that it's a dream and he is living it. He added that he is glad to be in UFC and perform, and that he is ready to win. The UFC as well as the Nevada State Athletic Commission have not reported any failed random drug test for Belfort during his UFC 187 fight camp. A test on fight night will be conducted on all fighters on the card.

During a February press conference on the UFC's new PED policy, UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta said, "You will be tested in competition. You will be tested out of competition. And if you are using performance enhancing drugs, you will be caught and there will be significant penalties that will go along with that."

ESPN's Brett Okamoto obtained, studied and later released results that showed Weidman had a 0.92 testosterone:epitesetosterone level, and Belfort on the other hand had a 1.7 T:E ratio.

Most men have a T:E ratio of 1.0, MMAJunkie noted.
