Big Ang has just confirmed that she will be returning to “Mob Wives” season 6. Despite just undergoing a major throat surgery, the reality star said that she’s ready to start shooting by June.

In an interview with Wetpaint, Big Ang said that she will be opening up about her recent surgery in the upcoming season. The VH1 reality star shared that although she's feeling much better, viewers will get to see how the throat cancer scare has affected her life. She revealed that the camera will be following her in her road to recovery.

"I'm going to have the next surgery in June so hopefully that comes back good. It's been a big setback in my life but I'll get through it."

Speaking to Perez Hilton, Big Ang added that she is slowly recovering from her throat surgery.

"I'm doing much better thank you... One more procedure in a couple of weeks and then I'm done!"

A cast member, who would not be returning to "Mob Wives" season 6, however, is Alicia DiMichele. Drita D'Avanzo recently took to Twitter asking her to comeback saying that Big Ang misses her. Alicia replied and said that she misses the two of them as well. She joked that she would consider returning to the show if it would just be the three of them.

Unfortunately, as Inquistr reported, Alicia would not be making a comeback in the reality series anytime soon. Early this year, the "Mob Wives" star said that she already has different priorities as of the moment.

"For me and the path that my life has taken since the show I can't really see a time where me coming back would make sense. I have new goals and aspirations and in order for me to accomplish those goals, I will have to continue to look forward and not backward," she said.
