It was reported that Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are having trouble with their marriage, but his twin brother, Benji Madden, is still in the honeymoon phase with wife Cameron Diaz almost five months after their wedding earlier this year.
On Sunday, the former Good Charlotte guitarist and the "Annie" star were snapped while on a day out with actress Drew Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman in the house of a common friend.
"Cameron, 42, kept her arm around Benji,36, even when they crossed the street on the way back to the car, and he wrapped one tattooed arm around her waist with a satisfied grin on his bearded face," Daily Mail, which published the series of photos, said.
OK! Magazine reported that Cameron Diaz had asked for advice from Drew Barrymore after experiencing some trouble in the marriage to Benji Madden.
"Drew said Cam should let Benji know he's the most important man in her life and keep his ego padded," the source said. "She's taking Drew's advice seriously. She wants to stay happily married."
But Us Weekly reported that Cameron Diaz is so happy to be married to Benji Madden.
The insider told the magazine that Cameron Diaz "has never felt so loved."
"Benji would do anything for her," another source claimed. "She's madly in love."
While Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz are happy to be married, his twin brother, Joel Madden, has hit a rough patch in his relationship with Nicole Richie, according to the rumor mill.
Accordingly, the couple listed their home for $4.5 million amid the divorce rumors.
"It's unknown when the 6,300-square-foot house was put on the market, however its timing has raised eyebrows," said Page Six.
"There are numerous headlines and murmurs that the couple, whose marriage bore two children - Harlow, 7, and Sparrow, 5 - are headed toward divorce," the article added.
