The best selling novel "Ugly Love" by Colleen Hoover is being turned into a movie. The steamy trailer has been released earlier this month starring Nick Bateman.
As reported by The Londoner, Colleen Hoover's "Ugly Love" is being turned into a movie with Nick Bateman cast as the lead actor Miles Archer. The novel was released in 2014 and spent three weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list.
It has been reported that the "Ugly Love" movie has been filming in Toronto for three weeks. It has however yet to be confirmed on who will star opposite Bateman as Tate Collins.
Producer Cody Hackman has high hopes for the film, which many point out as the next "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"We're really lucky to have it," Hackman said. "With that amount of support and between (Bateman's) fan base and how many (copies) this (book) sold, I think a lot of people who are fans of the book want to see it turned into a film so that's what we're doing."
Both Nick Bateman and Hackman shared several posts on their Instagram account sharing behind the scenes photos of the shoot.
The full synopsis of "Ugly Love" by Colleen Hoover reads:
"When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn't love at first sight. They wouldn't even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn't want love, she doesn't have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don't expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can't handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly."
