"One Big Happy" has been cancelled only after six episodes. It is still, however, yet to be confirmed if any network would take on season 2 of the Ellen Degeneres-produced and Liz-Feldman created show.

NBC has decided to cancel "One Big Happy," a show starring Nick Zano, Elisha Cuthbert, Kelly Brook and Rebecca Corry, Chris Williams, and Brandon Mychal Smith.

As reported by TV Series Finale, the series has gotten "mediocre ratings in mid-March and then the numbers got much worse." It was said that season 1 ended on an average of 1.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.92 million viewers.

The "One Big Happy" cast took to Twitter to express their sentiments regarding the show being cancelled.

"The most incredible, creatively challenging and most rewarding job I have ever had," Kelly posted.

"'I will miss this Family so much. We Laughed, Cried and ate a lot of Cheese together over the past 18months. Friendships for Life not just a Season. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see you go on and Shine in other projects and your own individual ones."

"I learnt so much from everyone of you. Love you with all my heart ❤ Going off to cry now"

Meanwhile, Elisha Cuthbert also thanked the fans for their support towards "One Big Happy."

"Thank u 2 all who tuned in 2 @NBCOneBigHappy it was an honour 2 play #Lizzy and a thrill to work with our amazing cast"

As reported by Daily Mail, the cancellation of "One Big Happy" because of dismal ratings has been kept hush-hush out of respect for Ellen Degeneres.

"NBC made a point of not leaking the news to prevent the culling being such big news. It is a huge snub to Ellen and also given the marketing budget for the show makes many top brass look stupid."

"For Kelly the problem will now be shaking off such a dramatic flop from her career and aspirations of being seen as a good actress."
