“The Bachelor” season 16 star Ben Flajnik might have split up with winner Courtney Robertson after a few months but the reality star has since moved on. He recently shared that although he had not found the love of his life in the ABC series, he met someone special on Tinder.
Speaking to Huffington Post's Here To Make Friends podcast, Ben Flajnik shared that he used to be on the dating app, Tinder. He revealed that he found his current girlfriend Stephanie Winn online.
"I found [love] on a dating app," he said. "She's fantastic. She's got a wonderful family. She's starting nursing school soon."
The couple have been together for a year and a half. They also share a home in San Francisco.
"Nice, normal life," he said. "Live in a quiet neighborhood in the city and, you know, friends all around."
"The Bachelor" alumna shared that he had hesitations at first to join Tinder, given its reputation of being a "hook up app."
"You never know, it's like those silly TV shows, you never know. You just have to keep casting lines, and you'll find it somewhere!"
In 2012, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson broke off their engagement after nine months of being together. "The Bachelor" season 16 couple released an official statement explaining the break-up to their fans.
"After meeting over a year ago, we have decided to end our romantic relationship. The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both, and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers."
Their announcement, however, did not come as a surprise to many. E! News pointed out that Ben and Courtney have long been hesitant about their relationship. The duo refused to give out any wedding plans and have not even moved together after the series. They held that they wanted to "take it slow" adding that they were not in a hurry to tie the knot.
