Looks like a good news for Janet Jackson fans across the globe as she is set to put out her first original album in seven years.

Janet Jackson is geared up for her comeback as the youngest child of the renowned Jackson family announced on her official website that BMG will release her new album this fall 2015.

Jackson's next studio album will mark the 49-year-old singer's first album since 2008's "Discipline" and will be released via BMG. Also, this will be her first venture with recently formed label Rhythm Nation Records.

In a press release on her website, Jackson noted that "Rhythm Nation offer a home to both new and established recording artists."

Jackson's collaboration with BMG is an "artist services deal," which contrary to a traditional record deal, allows artists to retain ownership of their recordings along with "full oversight of all costs and revenues," Rolling Stone noted.

Reports on Billboard noted that BMG has previously established partnerships with Estelle, Deborah Cox and Leela James, artists like Prince and Nick Cave on the other hand partnered up with Kobalt.

Janet Jackson, who has sold more than 160 million albums worldwide, teased the new LP on her 49th birthday last month. The popular singer took to her Twitter and shared with her 3.13M followers, a link to a video that claimed to be "This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."

The clip along with the phrase, "My Conversation" and the hashtag "ConversationsInACafe," fueled speculations about possible album as well as single titles. The singer was not the only one to have used that hashtag as producer Jimmy Jam too used it in the weeks leading to the album/tour announcement.

Janet first teased the news back in August 2014, tweeting, "If there's a new project, you'll hear it from my lips."

In a recent video message posted on Twitter, Janet Jackson announced, "I promised you'd hear it from my lips and now you will. This year: new music; new world tour; a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."
