Movie “The New World” is set to premiere in France, Germany, USA, and Canada.

On March 14th, it was recently revealed by the movie's international distributor Finecut, that the French and the German distributors have scheduled the movie to premiere in their respective countries.

MFA from Germany said, “The movie has something that never let the public be bored. It has a very interesting plot and shows great acting.”

This will be second time the French distributor TF1 distributed a Korean movie. The first one being, the 2010 movie “Man of Nowhere.”

As for MFA, this will be forth time distributing a Korean film. “Mother” “Thirst” and “Pieta” have been watched by German fans.

“The New World” starring Lee Jung Jae, Choi Min Sik, and Hwang Jung Min, is about a police officer named Ja Sung (Lee Jung Jae) who infiltrates in the gang “Goldmoon.” he becomes the right right, of the man who is second in command in the gang. The first in command in the gang is killed and the second in command and another man will then fight to become the number one person in the gang. At that time, the police informs Ja Sung that operation “New World” is to take place to stop the succession of the number one in command in the gang. Ja Sung then will be torn between his loyalty to the police and guy second in command.

The movie premiered on February 21st, and topped the box office that day. The movie kept of being the one movie for the next weeks. The movie have sold a total of 3,637,708 tickets as of March 14th.

“The New World” will be premiere in the USA and Canada next week.
