Tom Cruise's son, Connor, Dissed Caitlyn Jenner who will be accepting the award for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award on this year's ESPYs.

"Really?? Winning the AA award for courage?? Ashton is gonna come out and yell PUNK'D," he tweeted on June 3.

"Don't get me wrong. Do what you feel like doing and don't let anyone stop you. But everyone is taking this way too seriously...There are so many more important things that should be talked about...And SO MANY MORE IMPORTANT PEOPLE that actually deserve an award."

The tweets have been taken down from Tom Cruise's son's Twitter account but E! News managed to screen grab them.

But Connor Cruise took to Twitter once again to clarify that he didn't diss Caitlyn Jenner but rather put the whole thing in perspective.

He tweeted, "Totally twisting what I said, if you read what I said I totally support being happy and am glad she is happy."

"We just need to as a nation and a world get back to business and making everything a better place. Way more about the problems the world needs to solve than about her guys," he added.

Us Weekly noted the observation of some parties that there are more people deserving of the Arthur Ashe Courage Award and that Connor Cruise has every right to point that out.

It said that, for instance, Lauren Hill who lost her battle against brain cancer earlier this year could be a good candidate, "or DWTS star Noah Galloway, the army veteran who lost his arm and leg to a roadside bomb in Iraq."

But social media for now is leaning against Tom Cruise's son when he blasted Caitlyn Jenner.

Meanwhile, no stranger to controversy himself, Dennis Rodman apparently wants to date Caitlyn Jenner.

Caught by TMZ cameras, Dennis Rodman said, "Bruce, knock yourself out brother. If you want to go out on a date with me, well ask me out,"

Dennis Rodman, who also cross-dressed when he was still playing with the Chicago Bulls in the 90s, said that society has indeed come a long way. "I'm so proud of the fact that people are not really coming down hard on him where he can't walk around and show his face. That's the most important thing," the rebound demon said.
