Gamers rejoice! "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" featuring three uncharted games is coming to PS4; giving players access the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta.
Thursday, June 4, Sony announced on its PlayStation Blog that "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" will soon be released for the PS4 in the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection."
"Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" will roll out on Oct. 7 (Oct. 9 in UK and Ireland.)
The collection has been created to prep fans for the release of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," slated to release in 2016, however only the single-player campaigns of the titles will be available, IGN noted.
"What better way to get prepared for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End than to revisit - or play for the first time - the first three games that launched the fortune-hunting icon that is Nathan Drake?" Sony noted.
Sony further confirmed that, "buying the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection grants you exclusive access to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta (while the beta is available, of course.)"
All three games from the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" will be playable in 1080p and 60fps with better lightning, models, and textures, based on the story.
In addition, the games will also encompass Photo Mode and new trophies, according to records on Polygon.
More details on enhancements to the ports were promised in a future update.
Players who pre-order the collection will get the Nathan Drake Pack including single player skins of Drake outfits. But that's not all, those who pre-order will also get the fan-favorite weapons: the Golden AK-47 and Golden 92FS guns.
Those players who pre-order the digital download via the PlayStation Store can also get their hands on an "Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection" PS4 dynamic theme as an immediate download.
The news comes after the collection of PS3 Uncharted games was leaked a bit early, unveiling in a PlayStation Store ad on the mobile site, however no details were offered.
