Despite the story lines for "Scandal" season 5 remaining under wraps, a number of speculations about the upcoming season of the Shonda Rhimes political thriller continue to circulate months before its premiere.

Fans who have been monitoring updates about "Scandal" season 5 may have this question in mind: will the show feature cameo roles from known personalities including US First Lady Michelle Obama herself?

It could happen, if the show's star Kerry Washington was in charge. Speaking to the press in at the Red Carpet of 2015 Glamour Awards, the 38-year-old actress reportedly spilled who she wants to have on "Scandal" where she plays the main heroine Olivia Pope.

"Gosh! Rihanna. Or Beyonce. Or Michelle Obama. That's my dream team," Kerry reportedly said, according to Glamour News.

Kerry Washington's wish list for personalities appearing in "Scandal" season 5 may be a long shot, but not impossible. The actress has reportedly rubbed elbows with the First Lady in the past, including posing together for the magazine cover of Glamour along with Sarah Jessica Parker, according to The Hill.

Kerry Washington has also reportedly been with Mrs. Obama during a visit at Savoy Elementary School in Washington D.C. in 2013. The first lady reportedly had only good things to say about the "Scandal" actress in front of the students.

"She spent a lot of time practicing and working and trying out for things and having people tell her 'no,' 'no, thank you,' 'you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough,'" the first lady reportedly told the children about Kerry Washington, as quoted by Huffington Post. "Could you imagine somebody telling Kerry that she wasn't pretty enough, she wasn't tall enough, she was too short? That's all performing is, is rejection."

"Scandal" season 5, which also stars Tony Goldwyn as President Fitzgerald Grant, premieres in fall.
