"Divergent" co-stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley revealed that the third movie in the franchise, "Allegiant," will closely follow the plot of the best selling novel.

As reported by Classicalite, Theo James revealed that the "Divergent: Allegiant" movie will be following a double feature format, similar to other franchises such as "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games." This approach was said to be done to ensure that all the important details in the novel was included in the film.

Contrary to previous reports, the actor revealed that there would be no major changes in the film adapation.

"Not huge [changes], no. I think they were able to consolidate with the third movie and kind of consolidate all the key elements of the book. I think it's gonna be pretty similar," he said.

"I think the luxury of this one is that we have time to tell the book over two movies so I think, if anything, it'll be the material in the book, but then added as well. There will be more stuff because we have more time to tell the story."

Meanwhile, co-star Shailene Woodley shared Theo James' enthusiasm with doing a two-part movie finale. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress said she's beyond excited that she will be able to play Tris for another year.

"I am excited, but my very first thought, if I'm being honest was, 'Okay. All right. That's another year of kicking ass. Another year devoted to this character.' But that's all right, because I am honored to be Tris, and it is exciting," she said.

"'Divergent' was a very fun film to make, and I worked with some great people. It is also really exciting that just after coming off promoting this one, we start filming the next one in like a month. It will be nice to get into it," she added.
