Nicholas Hoult is reportedly desperate to get back together with Jennifer Lawrence. The actor was said to be obsessed with his "X-Men: Apocalypse" co-star that he's willing to do anything to get her attention.

According to Star Magazine, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, Nicholas Hoult is trying to snag Jennifer Lawrence away from rumored boyfriend Chris Martin. Insiders claim that the former couple have gotten close again while working on the set of their new movie "X-Men: Apocalypse" in Canada.

The actor reportedly was still not over "The Hunger Games" star and was intent on winning her back.

"Nick is determined to win her back. He is hoping that during filming he can in her heart again," the insider said.

Unfortunately, Coldplay's Chris Martin would not let the 24-year-old out of her sight. Sources revealed that the singer has been keeping tabs on JLaw everywhere she went.

"Nick's competition - fellow English countryman and Jen's current boyfriend Chris Martin is making regular visits to the set and quite an impression on Jen. She's really into Chris."

The website reported that although the couple has been spotted several times together, Jennifer was not at all happy with her relationship with Chris. Rumor has it, she was already feeling the 14-year age gap catching on.

"Jennifer was growing bored with Chris because of their age difference. Martin was reportedly trying to turn her in to a homebody, and J-Law missed hanging out with the younger crowd, like when she used to party with her ex Hoult."

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult first started dating in 2011, after they met on the set of "X-Men: First Class." The two, however, split in 2013 only to get back together after four months. In August last year, Jennifer and Nicholas broke up for the second time, claiming that their busy schedules took a toll on their relationship.
