Jeremy Lin, who's starting to work on his game with future hall of famer Steve Nash, is not expected to be back in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform next season and a new report pitched that Linsanity may be perfect for the Dallas Mavericks.

Mavs Moneyball, a fansite dedicated to the Dallas Mavericks, acknowledged that Jeremy Lin's numbers have deteriorated since his Linsanity days In New York.

Also, there are flaws in his game that needs a lot of work such as his defense, his handling, or his lack of ability to handle traps well, which were the reasons he lost his starting job for both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets.

"If Monta Ellis is not around next season to be the facilitator of the team's pass-heavy, movement-based pick-and-roll offense (the one that worked before and after Rondo), the team could do a lot worse than Lin," the article said.

"For one thing, Lin is nowhere near a finished product. There are exactly three players on last year's Mavs' roster younger than Lin (who is 26 years old): Al-Farouq Aminu, Greg Smith, and Dwight Powell," it added. "If Lin were to find a home as the latest addition to the Mavs' roster of misfit toys, he and Parsons could ride out the prime of their careers together."

Regardless of where Linsanity ends up next season, however, Jeremy Lin is already working on his game with former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Steve Nash, said the news report.

The news report was revealed by Los Angeles Lakers courtside reporter Serena Winters who tweeted, "Working at the Lakers facility & a familiar face walked in - good 'ole Steve Nash! Said he had a workout planned w/ Jeremy Lin."

"They both, ironically, found a home in the NBA playing under Mike D'Antoni's "Seven Seconds or Less" offense, which emphasized pushing the tempo on offense," the Los Angeles Suntimes noted.
