He was scheduled for a June 13 fan signing at Korea's Gangnam Tourist Information Center, but the event was canceled, due to the MERS outbreak. However, the actor will continue to be honored through an exhibition at the center.
The 27-year-old K-Drama star and musical theater actor recently departed from Korea for a London event which is speculated to be hosted by Dunhill. In March 2014, he served an ambassador of Korea for an event coordinated by the London-based fashion house, which was staged in Hong Kong.
He recently wrapped up the musical, "The Days," and continues to attract fans throughout Asia. His film debut was in the 2006 film, "Days," but he received widespread attention from domestic viewers from his role in "Smile, Donghae." Ji emerged from obscurity to become one of the top stars of 2015 with his starring role in the action series, "Hero," opposite Park Min Young.
