Good news for moviegoers who loved Chris Pratt's performance in "Jurassic World." The actor just signed up for at least one sequel of the movie franchise, according to Mirror.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chris Pratt was asked whether he will be back to chase dinosaurs in an upcoming "Jurassic World" sequel. "I am," the actor answered. "They have me for I think 38 movies or something."
On the same interview, it was revealed that there are fated moments for Chris Pratt to star in "Jurassic World." The actor reportedly has a Raptor truck, there was a Parks and Rec video where he faked getting a text from Steven Spielberg about Jurassic Park IV, and the actor purportedly told Jurassic jokes on The O.C. Set.
Did the actor bank on the law of attraction to get the huge movie deal? "I read 'The Secret' when I was 16," Chris humorously said. "I was the first person to read it. I thought it was a secret. I didn't know they would eventually turn it into a book."
The law of attraction may have indeed worked very well for Chris Pratt, with "Jurassic World" earning $18.5 million on its opening night and continuing to rake in box office success worldwide.
According to Chris, filming the latest installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise has been memorable for him especially because he got to spend a lot of time with his loved ones while working on the movie.
"For me, my favorite part of the process was being in Hawaii with my family," Chris admitted. "Swimming, surfing and fishing, and doing runs and hikes all around there and then going to work in Hawaii. I want see if I can get a role on Hawaii Five-0 or something. If I could live there and work, I would."
