Amid rumors that Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are allegedly on the verge of a divorce, Celeb Dirty Laundry said the Duchess is purportedly blackmailing the heir to the throne by allegedly asking for big bucks in exchange of her not releasing a tell-all book containing the secrets of the British Royal Family.

"Camilla is determined to escape her palace shackles and her hapless husband - but she won't go empty handed," Globe Magazine reported. "If Charles thought that he could get rid of her on grounds of adultery and escape a huge pay-off, then he is sadly mistaken."

Apparently, Prince Charles' reputation is not the only one at stake if ever Camilla doesn't get the divorce payoff that she's asking for and decides to push through with the book. The other members of the family could allegedly find the skeletons in their closets exposed to the public if they don't succumb to the Duchess' demands.

It was earlier reported that Prince Charles purportedly caught Camilla cheating with a British television star, sparking an epic fight that ended with the prince giving Camilla an ultimatum to stop her cheating. However, Camilla allegedly wanted to get ahead of Prince Charles by meeting with lawyers to discuss the possibility of filing for divorce. The Duchess also allegedly told Prince Charles that he couldn't stop her from cheating because the heir to the throne "isn't man enough" for her.

Some speculated that Prince Charles and Camilla's rumored divorce in the works might just rip the monarchy apart, with a messy divorce battle tainting the reputation of the British Royal Family.

Belfast Telegraph noted that it has been 10 years since Prince Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles. Despite the public purportedly seeing Camilla as a symbol of Prince Charles' betrayal to the late Princess Diana, the Prince's loyalty to the duchess has been unwavering.
