Alicia Florrick found her world turned upside down when she was forced to resign by the Democratic Party, and from all the events that she suffered Julianna Margulies said that her character in "The Good Wife" season 6 needs a shrink to sort out her mess.
Meanwhile, in a Twitter Q&A, Carrie Preston probably teased "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers as she claimed that she's open to playing Elsbeth Tascioni as long as fans want her to.
"The Good Wife" season 6 actress Julianna Margulies talked spoilers to The Edit magazine, per Latin Post, where she weighed in on the mindset of Alicia Florrick going forward.
"Oh, she's messed up! I tell the writers, 'Seriously, she needs to be in therapy," the actress said. "She hasn't gotten laid for a year and a half, the situation with her husband is so complicated, her children are leaving the nest, she has her own business and she's completely overwhelmed."
"And the writers are always like, 'Well, she'll work it out!' To be honest, when would she have the time to see a shrink anyway?" Julianna Margulies added.
Carrie Preston, meanwhile, said that if it were up to her, she would be playing Elsbeth Tascioni in every episode.
Twitter user Annie McGuire asked the 47-year-old actress, "What can we expect of Elsbeth in season 7 of good wife? Please tell me you're staying!"
She replied, "If they bring me back, I don't know how they'll top penguins in my head, treadmill desks and I making out in my office, but I'm sure they'll find a way!"
Carrie Preston also said that Elsbeth Tascoini in "The Good Wife" is one of her favorite characters to play, even if she likes all the roles that she has played in.
With Kalinda out, Robert and Michelle King has announced that Cush Jumbo will be coming in for a recurring role.
"I wouldn't say she's replacing Archie because she's irreplaceable," Robert said. "But we wanted someone who could fill that same interesting dynamic on the show without doing the same thing."
