After Canvas Selfie, Micromax has launched yet another selfie-focused smartphone dubbed the Canvas Selfie Lens Q345.

India's popular smartphone manufacturer, Micromax has launched its latest selfie-focused device in the Canvas series, known as the Canvas Selfie Lens Q345.

Micromax recently launched the Canvas Silver 5, which the company claims is the thinnest and lightest phone in the world, measuring only 5.1 mm. The Canvas Silver 5 is a quite good mid-range offering from Micromax, and its specifications are solid as well.

With the Canvas Selfie Lens Q345, Micromax is back with another smartphone in the affordable mid-range.

Priced at 8,299 (about $130), the Canvas Selfie Lens comes with a clip-on wide-angle lens. In addition, the new smartphone will come with bundled data offer from Vodafone offering up to 500MB 3G data free for first two months. The new smartphone will be available via online and offline stores, NDTV Gadgets noted.

The dual-sim (GSM+GSM) smartphone will be available in White and Champagne as well as Moondust Grey color variants. Micromax lays emphasize on the fact that the smartphone's bundled 0.4x clip-on wide-angle lens enable users to click better selfies.

According to Micromax, the Canvas Selfie Lens' highlight is its presets and filters settings for taking photos, along with a face beauty mode. The Canvas Selfie Lens features an 8MP rear camera coupled with Sony sensors and LED flash, and a 5MP front camera.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, according to reports on Times of India.

The Canvas Selfie Lens features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display alongside Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. In terms of storage, it packs 86GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

It comes with a 2800mAh battery which can deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 374 hours of standby time. As far as connectivity options are concerned, it includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0.
