"Bachelor in Paradise" couple Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are officially married. The couple, who met during season 1, have finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico.

Us Weekly confirmed that Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul have officially exchanged their "I Dos" after getting engaged in the "Bachelor in Paradise" season 1 finale. Grodd asked her hand in marriage just after three weeks of dating. He surprised her with a sweet proposal on the beach in Tulum, Mexico.

Marcus took to Twitter to wish his wife a happy anniversary, accompanied with a photo of Faddoul getting her hair done for the big day.

"Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns! How time has flown this past year. Hmmm...whatcha getting ready for?"

In an interview with ABC News, "BIP" host Chris Harrison revealed that Marcus knew that he wanted to propose to Lacy before the finale. Chris revealed that although Marcus was nervous to pop the question, he was 100% sure that he wanted her to be his wife.

"That final day I knew Marcus planned to propose. He showed me the ring and we talked about it right before we walked in for that final rose ceremony," he shared.

"He was nervous, but was 100 percent sure he was ready to pop the question. It was exciting for all of us to see all of this end in such an incredible moment... Lacy of course said yes and so became our newest engaged 'Bachelor' couple."

Early this year, the couple opened up about the preparations for their wedding. They shared that they wanted to customize their wedding to "contribute to the Bachelor Nation." They revealed that there were several "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" cast members who were invited to the wedding.

Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul's full wedding will air on "Bachelor in Paradise" season 2.
