New spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" season 5 reveal that the series will immediately pick up following the disappearance of Emma, while Lancelot will make an appearance once again.
According to season 5 spoilers for "Once Upon a Time" from TVLine, the season opener will continue from where the finale ended "with Emma having vanished after taunting the disembodied Darkness with the Dark One's dagger."
"Where exactly the Savior was transported to, however, thus far remains a closely guarded secret (but hey, that's what Comic-Con is for, amiright?) Also, it will be sooner rather than later that we meet King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table," it said.
Showrunner Edward Kitsis previously teased "Once Upon a Time" season 5 spoilers when he said tht Sinqua Walls will reprise his role as Lancelot.
"Oh man, you can't go to Camelot and not see Lancelot," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Movie Pilot noted that there were a lot of Easter eggs that hinted of Lancelot's return to the series.
"Camelot has been hinted at numerous times, with the sword in the stone, Lancelot mentioning a lost love and the Author telling them that to save Emma from being the Dark One they will have to find Merlin," it said. "Both King Arthur and Guinevere have yet to be cast, though there is still a casting call for them."
But Cora has alleged that Lancelot was killed and she took on his persona in order to escape the Enchanted Forest. But no proof was really provided on whether or not her claims were true.
In season 5 of the ABC hit series, the major characters will seek the help of Merlin in order to fight the Dark One.
