Bobbi Kristina Brown's best friend has come forward to reveal details of alleged abuse Whitney Houston's daughter suffered in the hands of Nick Gordon which reportedly contributed to her current condition.

In an interview with E! News, Alex Reid claimed that three weeks before she was found face down in a bathtub, Bobbi Kristina Brown came to her "sobbing."

She alleged, " Nick had hit her and she was scared. She was very upset. She didn't know what to do. It was as if, she didn't have anyone else to turn to. It was heartbreaking."

"Krissi was physically abused by Nick on a number of occasions and she told me about some of them," Alex claimed. "I never witnessed anything...she would FaceTime me every time she was distraught, when something has just happened or show me a bruise."

Meanwhile, the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown has been guaranteeing that she has privacy in light of her condition. Whitney Houston's daughter has been taken off life support and was taken to a hospice in the remaining days of her life.

"Everyone has to check their purses or bags at the nurse's station," the source told Radar Online. "They are making sure that each person that comes to see Krissy is fully checked and that they aren't sneaking anything into the room."

The source added, "All anyone wants to do is protect Krissy. She deserves her privacy at this time and who knows what any of the family members would do. There have been so many money struggles that they're not taking any chances with her being exploited in this state."

The investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition, where Nick Gordon is considered as a person of interest, is still open, according to the police. Gordon is facing a multi-million civil lawsuit for allegedly stealing from the estate of Whitney Houston's daughter.

"There are things that I know that no one else does," Alex Reid said. "And I hope that by speaking out I can help the investigation in some way."
