"Magic Mike XXL" star Matt Bomer opens up about what it felt to get naked in front of strangers. Despite being uncomfortable in shooting some of the scenes in the first movie, the actor revealed that he had no second thoughts when offered to do a sequel.

In an interview with Straight, Matt Bomer revealed that he was excited to reprise his role as Ken in "Magic Mike XXL." The actor shared that he started going to the gym more frequently when he signed up to the film.

"It's a huge physical commitment to do these movies. It takes months of preparation and a crazy amount of discipline while you're filming," he said.

"We hold each other accountable for what you're eating and if you're working out enough."

When asked how it felt to strip down in front of total strangers, the "White Collar" actor shared that it was uncomfortable and scary. He added that apart from baring it all, the cast also have to be emotionally vulnerable.

"There are some scary circumstances," Bomer recalled.

"You have to lay things on the line emotionally but the cast has each other's back and it helps solidify the ensemble."

Matt Bomer also spoke highly of his "Magic Mike XXL" co-star Channing Tatum. The actor said that he ensured that the film was as realistic as possible. He added that the other cast members, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer and Adam Rodriguez all brought their A-game.

"A lot of what we were responsible for was creating the reality of the stripper backstage life. Channing is up front and center carrying the story but we all worked on it as if we were playing 'Hamlet' and brought as much as we possibly could to our limited screen time," he said.

"Thankfully, the creative staff saw that commitment and gave us the chance to flesh it out more this time."
