Kit Harington's appearance at Wimbledon last week got "Game of Thrones" fans thinking and hoping: will Jon Snow be alive next season?
How could one look at the English actor spark plot speculations that the Bastard of Winterfell will still be alive in season 7? The answer - his hair. Daily Mail reported that Kit Harington sported the same Jon Snow locks at the sports event, triggering hearsays that maybe there's still a chance that he will be returning for another season of "Game of Thrones."
The possibility that Jon Snow will still be alive in the next season of "Game of Thrones" could be sketchy, after the season 6 finale showed Ned Stark's bastard stabbed multiple times by the Brothers of the Night's Watch who betrayed him, and left lying on the snow lying on a pool of his own blood.
Hollywood Life recounted that Kit Harington has already announced he will not be returning to the next season of "Game of Thrones" and Jon Snow is really dead much like his father Ned Stark, stepmother Catelyn Stark, and half-brother Robb Stark in the series.
"Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have," Kit Harington told Entertainment Weekly. "They sat me down and said, 'This is how it is.' If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it - it's only in David and Dan and George's heads. But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really."
However, this hasn't stopped fans from hoping that the doe-eyed Lord Commander will still be alive next season.
The new season of "Game of Thrones" will premiere next year.
