When season 2 rolls along for "How to Get Away with Murder," the mystery about who killed Rebecca Sutter will be tackled. The spoilers so far have not give any hint as to the identity of the killer as the merry-go-around of suspects continue.
IBTimes speculated that Wes Gibbins might be the killer just based on his meltdown in season 1 finale.
"Gibbins could have been convinced that Rebecca killed Lila and got infuriated and killed his girlfriend. Or the entire thing could have been orchestrated by Annalise, just like she did with Sam Keating's murder," it said.
Or it could be Frank, whom Annalise doesn't really trust.
Viola Davis told The Hollywood Reporter, "If you go into any prison today everybody will say, 'I didn't do it' even if you found the DNA there."
"So as an actor, I made a choice that it was a total surprise to me," she added. "But at the end of the day, I don't trust Frank. It's a path I created for Annalise because of her past, which involves sexual abuse, but I don't think she has much trust in anyone. I thinks she wants to desperately but doesn't."
It may well be Annalise herself as fans know that Viola Davis' character has no compunction about commiting murder, or manipulating somebody into doing the dirty work for her.
Creator Pete Nowalk earlier teased spoilers to The Hollywood Reporte that there's going to be a new character who will be introduced in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 "that figures prominently into Annalise's life."
He said, "There's no rules to our show, which is great. We can flash back, we can flash forward, we can just tell a story linearly. I want to keep it fresh."
Watch out for more "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 which will be published as they come along.
