Amber Heard, along with husband Johnny Depp, has been in the limelight recently after the controversy brought about by their decision to bring their pups to Australia without passing quarantine. But the "Magic Mike XXL" actress seems unaffected as she showed up for the Bulgari red carpet event in a stunning gown.

The 29-year-old actress, who married the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star in February this year, attended the Bulgari Haute Couture Cocktail Party & Model Show in Paris last Tuesday.

"With an almost dungaree-style top half - straps fastened to a square neckline with round buttons - it then proceeded to skim down her svelte, shapely figure," said Daily Mail. "Buttons ran down the side of the skirt, which ended at a flattering lower-calf level."

Amber Heard has been on a promotional run for her next movie "Magic Mike XXL."

She told Style magazine while watching jewelry pieces at the Bulgary party, "This is going to be problematic. You know how it is when you see jewelry you really, really want."

About four days ago, Johnny Depp's wife showed up at the Miu Miu launch for its new fragrance line and again her style choice didn't disappoint.

"The Magic Mike XXL actress chose a plunging black dress with intricate beading for the launch of the first Miu Miu fragrance. Beauty-wise, she swept her blonde locks to one side and added flushed cheeks and soft pink lips," said Us Weekly.

Amber Heard and husband Johnny Depp have hogged the headlines recently when Australia's agriculture ministry threatened to put down their two dogs which didn't go to quarantine.

"I have a feeling we're going to avoid the land Down Under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there ... I guess everyone tries to go for their 15 minutes, including some government officials," she said.
