Alicia might have just found another man to fill the void of her lonely heart, according to the latest spoilers for "The Good Wife" season 7.
In a report from E! News, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was cast in a recurring role as an investigator hired by Alicia Florrick.
Florrick, Agos and Lockhart has no investigator at this point with the departure of Kalinda and Robyn being out for most of season 6.
It said, "Since the departure of her campaign manager Johnny (Steven Pasquale), death of Will (Josh Charles) and Finn's (Matthew Goode) decision not to partner with her, Alicia's hurting in the man department. So, will that void be filled by Morgan?"
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is coy about that possibility.
"We'll see. I don't know. I've been told a little bit of my character's background. I know that there's a lot of speculation that there might be some possible romance thing happening," he said. "And I know Julianna and I'll be happy to jump into that arena with her. So we'll see what happens."
Earlier it was reported that "Torchwood" actress Cush Jumbo has joined the show, prompting speculations that she will replace Kalinda. There's no word, however, of what her role will be.
Meanwhile, Deadline revealed "The Good Wife" season 7 spoilers as it reported that Margo Martindale has join the cast in a recurring role.
"Martindale will play Willa Eastman, a top campaign operative responsible for past successes by underdog presidential candidates in Iowa who hides her intelligence and cunning under a fake, folksy charm," the report said.
