The "Star Wars" panel is one of the most awaited events at the Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego. Polygon reported that the panel focused on introducing the antagonists of Episode VII which is the First Order.
The "Star Wars" Comic-Con 2015 panel was attended by Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. "The Force Awakens" cast were also present including John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson and Gwendoline Christie.
Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, termed by some as the "legacy players," were also present during the event. Harrison Ford expressed how happy he was to be included in the cast of the upcoming Star Wars movie.
"I will tell you that it felt great," Harrison Ford said during the panel, as quoted by Reuters. "It felt...
The company was the right company. The director was the right director. Larry wrote us a wonderful story, and I was proud and grateful to once again be involved."
"I never thought it would come back to bless me instead of haunt me," Ford added, as quoted by The Verge. "I was very gratified when I read the script, because I read something that I thought was really remarkable. Well-written, with some intriguing developments. So I was delighted to be involved."
J.J. Abrams said that after the first two trailers debuted in November and in April, they wouldn't be releasing the next trailer until fall. Despite this, Star Wars fans at the Comic-Con 2015 were treated to more than three minutes of behind-the-scenes footage.
One of the revelations during the panel was that the antagonists, The First Order, has inherited the old Empire's star fighters. General Hux is reportedly in charge of the primary First Order base called Starkiller Base.
Flicks and the City uploaded a video for fans who would want to watch Star Wars Comic-Con 2015 panel it its entirety.
