“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Terese Guidice’s husband Joe Giudice reportedly signed to do more episodes of the spin off series. It was said that he, together with his daughters, are preparing to show more of how their family cope following Teresa’s conviction.
According to Page Six, Bravo TV executives had already signed Joe Giudice to do multiple episodes of the show. It was said that the story would focus on his life as a single dad taking care of her daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana in his wife's absence.
"We're told they filmed Gia's graduation from middle school, and last week, the girls were filmed getting mani/pedis with Teresa's sister- in-law Melissa Gorga in Morris Plains, NJ," the report said.
Meanwhile, according to Radar Online, Terese Guidice was reportedly returning to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" after her sentence. It was said that the filming of the series is scheduled in the fall, in time for Guidice's release.
Since Teresa Guidice will be released by December, she will be joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" by the second half of the season.
"None of the cast members of 'RHONJ' have signed contracts for next season," the source said.
"But there isn't anything to be concerned about because filming has been pushed from the summer and won't be beginning until late September, early October."
Although Bravo executives were reportedly hesitant to bring Teresa Guidice back to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," they eventually decided to renew her contract thinking that her return could help boost the ratings.
"Without Teresa there just isn't a lot going on with the women," the source shared.
"With her on board, cameras would film Joe's final days with the family as he prepares to begin his 41 month prison sentence."
"Teresa hasn't signed a formal contract yet, but it's only a matter of time."
