Chris Brown and Rihanna are reportedly working on a new song together. The "Loyal" singer allegedly asked his former flame to guest star on his highly anticipated album, set to release this fall.

According to Urban Islandz, Chris Brown and Rihanna are putting their differences aside to bring fans a new track. Karruche Tran's ex-boyfriend was reportedly the one who made the first move and asked if she was willing to do another song with him. After much thought, Rihanna accepted Chris' request, thinking that it was just exactly the right publicity they both needed.

Although not much has been revealed on what the new song will be about, the source told the publication that fans of the former couple will be happy with what's coming their way.

"These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy," the source said.

"This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea original to get her on his upcoming album. She agreed that they should do another song so it's almost a done deal."

As previously reported by Billboard, Chris Brown is working on a follow up album to 2014's "X." The singer added that his latest song "Liquor" will be part of his latest offering.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is also busy with her eighth studio album, reportedly titled "R8." The singer was recently spotted going inside a NYC studio where she is allegedly working alongside producer Timbaland. Aside from Chris Brown, the "BBHMM" singer also reportedly approached some of the dancehall artists to appear in her upcoming album.

"I know for sure that her people have reached out to Popcaan and Vybz Kartel people to record some music and I've been told that she might be flying down to GeeJam studio during the summer," sources said.
