Drew Barrymore wants to inspire others with the release of her second memoir, "Wildflower," which is a collection of autobiographical essay.

The "Bad Girls" star revealed the cover of "Wildflower," an assemblage of autobiographical essay and she looks stunning. Barrymore appears to be floating in mid-air or jumping for joy while holding one of those titular flowers.

The former child actress's signature blonde locks were tossed in a messy but refined ponytail.

The 40-year-old mother-of-two is telling her life story in the collection of autobiographical essays that focus on her life from growing up in Hollywood in the renowned Barrymore family to becoming a wife to Will Kopelman and mother to their two daughters, 2-year-old Olive and 1-year-old Frankie.

Back in February, Dutton Publishing said the book "will include stories about living on her own at 14, getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross country road trip, saying goodbye to her father in a way only he could have understood, and many more adventures and lessons that have led to the most important thing in her life, which is motherhood."

Talking about what prompted her to tell her life story again after her first book Little Girl Lost, Barrymore told People that "It was a lot to take on, but my daughters and my life so far have inspired me to look back and remember moments in my life and write about them."

This is not the first time Drew has written a book. "The Wedding Singer" actress wrote her first autobiography, the New York Time's Best Seller, Little Girl Lost, when she was just 14-year-old. The book centered on her time in rehab, her partying lifestyle as well as the endeavor of being a child actress, DailyMail noted.

Drew's second book titled "Find It In Everything" revolved around her love for hearts and photography with images of the symbol of love taken by the actress herself. The heartwarming gift book is up for grabs on Amazon. "Photographs by Drew Barrymore reveal hearts found in everyday situations," the book's description reads.

This time, however the stunning actress shares her life story from a stance of a 40-year-old mother and wife.

"I have wanted to write a book for many years, but the irony of writing this with two young kids was wild," Drew told People. Drew is hoping that readers will find the book "humorous, emotional and welcoming."

"I was also able to keep it current and talk about where my life is today," she says. "It's personal yet I wrote for someone to hopefully enjoy, one story at a time."

The A-list actress is also a producer, beauty brand owner most recently, a wine entrepreneur, however there's one skill that she is yet to add to her impressive resume, cooking.

"I'm just not perfect in the kitchen," Barrymore tells People. "But I'm getting there slowly."

"Salmon and veggies are regular at my house," she says, noting that daughters Olive, and Frankie are big fans of the fish.

"I'm not a lifestyle expert," Barrymore admits, but she is "very organized about the kids' food" and always makes sure her two kids "eat really well."

Drew Barrymore's "Wildflower" is slated to hit shelves and tablets on Oct. 27.
