Being closely associated with royalty has its drawbacks as Pippa Middleton was the subject of a tell-all from a former bodyguard who revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge's sister had plans of joining the "Dancing with the Stars."
The bodyguard dished some details to Star Magazine, as shared by The Hollywood Gossip, as he claimed that Nico Jackson's rumored fiancée wanted to join the reality show.
"She wants her sister's fame, that's for sure. I heard she's desperate to be on Dancing with the Stars but the palace asked her to back off. They felt it would sully the image of her sister," she said. "Well, I tell you she did not care! She supposedly contacted Derek Hough somehow and he's a big fan of the idea."
Her plan of joining the "DWTS" however was scuttled when Pippa Middleton was hired as an on-air correspondent of "The Today Show."
"As much as we would love to see Pippa Middleton on DWTS, we have a sneaking suspicion that Queen Elizabeth would make sure it never happened - regardless of what lengths she would have to go through to ensure it," said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
"Queen Elizabeth absolutely despises Kate Middleton's commoner family - and the fact that they have been using their connections to the royals to line their pockets for years. Pippa joining the ABC reality show would be an absolute mockery of their royal family and everything they stand for," it added.
Apart from her TV commitments, Pippa Middleton also has her advocacy for breast cancer awareness and the British Heart Foundation, which prompted rumors that she has no more time with rumored fiancé Nico Jackson.
Last month, Life & Style magazine reported that Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson are already engaged.
"Kate is so happy for Pippa and she loves Nico. They all get along so well!" the source said.
In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge even help picked the engagement ring.
"It will definitely be a stunner," the source said of the engagement ring to be given to 31-year-old Pippa Middleton.
Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson have been dating for three years now, and the engagement rumors came on the heels of the report that they have broken up after he move on a new job overseas.
