Bobbi Kristina Brown is dead at 22 years old, and the family is grateful for all the support they received in this difficult time.
In a statement sent to Entertainment Tonight, the family confirmed Bobbi Kristina Brown's death.
The statement said, "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
Whitney Houston's daughter passed away in Peachtree Christian Hospice on Sunday in a bizaare incident that mimicked the death of her mother who died at 48 years old when she drowned at a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, California three years ago.
In June, the family decided to take Bobbi Kristina Brown off life support and transfer her to the hospice where she spent the last remaining days of her life.
The statement distributed to media outlets last June read, "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care."
Bobbi Kristina Brown was also found by Nick Gordon lying facedown in a bathtub in January this year. Nick Gordon might now face a murder charge as the prosecutors in Georgia are just waiting for Whitney Houston's daughter to pass away before launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
"Late last month, Brown's conservator sued Nick Gordon - who has been described as Brown's boyfriend and husband, an attachment her family denies - for $10 million, accusing him of having physically abused Brown and having improperly withdrawn $11,000 from her bank account after she was in a coma," NBC News reported.
At the time of her death, Bobbi Kristina Brown was worth at little more than $115 million being the sole heir of Whitney Houston's estate.
