James Packer Wants Mariah Carey To Lose Weight, Have Gastric Bypass Surgery? Nick Cannon Calls Relationship A 'Disaster'

James Packer allegedly wanted Mariah Carey to shred a few pounds and even offered to pay for the gastric bypass surgery.

Ever since the couple started dating, they have always been photographed going out to dinners and partying together. The constant food trips reportedly took a toll on Mariah Carey's body and her new beau is definitely noticing the changes.

"She and James love food. Pasta with truffles, butter-drenched lobster, cakes-you name it, they indulge in it," a source told OK! magazine.

The billionaire was reportedly convincing Mariah to undergo surgery, just like what he did in 2011. James had a lap band surgery to help him with his weight concerns. He explained that although his weight had been fluctuating over the years, the procedure definitely changed the way he looked at his body.

"He said that the surgery hasn't been a cure-all, but it's definitely kept his weight from spiraling out of control. James even offered to pay for the procedure and take care of her while she recovered!" the insider added.

Meanwhile, it has also been rumored that the couple is planning to tie the knot soon. They may have only started dating this June but the couple are reportedly ready to take their relationship to the next level.

After her failed marriage with Nick Cannon, the songtress was cautious about finding something new. That, however, changed when she met James.

"A wedding isn't something Mariah would have considered a month ago, but now she's head over heels for James and wants to marry him," a source told In Touch Weekly.

"It's been a whirlwind. Her head is spinning from the light-speed love affair."

On the other hand, Nick Cannon was reportedly unhappy when he found out that Mariah Carey has already moved on to James Packer.

"Not only has their divorce not been finalized yet, but Nick is worried that Mariah is moving too fast. Nick's pissed. He thinks this relationship is a recipe for disaster."
