Part of the fun of watching the variety show "We Got Married" is seeing celebrities coupled up and wondering if the relationship will continue after the show.

Although actress Hwang Jung Eum and singer Kim Yong Jun were already dating before they appeared on the show in 2009, they excelled at pretending to be married in front of a big audience. They often had fights but made up quickly, making them an audience favorite.

That's apparently a recipe for relationship success, since four years later their relationship is still going strong.

The relationship has weathered busy career schedules, a scandal, Kim's absence due to military service and the actress having to kiss attractive actors as part of her drama roles.

The couple appeared on "We Got Married" when the show decided to try something new by adding real-life couples.

Hwang, who debuted with the kpop girl group Sugar, became a well-known actress after she appeared in the sitcom, "High Kick Through the Roof." After that she had roles in "Giant," Can't You Hear My Heart?" and most recently in "Incarnation of Money."

Kim Yong Jun is a member of the ballad trio SG Wannabee, whose first album, "Timeless," quickly jumped to the top of the charts. The couple met in 2006, around the time SG Wannabee released their third album, "The Third Masterpiece."

The couple almost broke up once when Hwang was said to be seeing actor Daniel Choi while they filmed "High Kick Through The Roof."

The false rumors created problems for both actors but Hwang managed to convince Kim that it wasn't true.

During Kim's military service, which began last year, the two managed to see each other as often as they could.

When asked if it was difficult to be apart, she said, "We've been dating for seven years now. We've surpassed the 'I miss you if I don't see you every single day stage.' It's more than love now; it's a strong friendship. He feels like family."

But feeling like family apparently doesn't stop him from getting jealous. When Kim found out that Hwang had to kiss a fellow actor in the drama "Incarnation of Money," he asked her, "How come you didn't tell me that you had a kiss scene?"

He called her "evil" for not telling him but that only made her laugh. It's a good thing their relationship is so strong that they can laugh about love scenes since the actress is sure to have many more of them.
