Hugh Hefner's son Cooper and Harry Potter actress Scarlett Byrne are engaged to bring in a big surprise to J.K. Rowling fans, reported by Yahoo News.
Scarlett played Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and also played parts in "Falling Skies" and "The Vampire Diaries."
Cooper is the youngest of Hefner's four children. Hef has a daughter and a son with his first wife Mildred Williams. Cooper and his brother Marston were born to Hefner's second wife Kimberley Conrad, according to Daily Mail.
Hugh has been grooming his youngest son to take over as the public face of Playboy. Hugh stated that he considers it a honor to carry on the family legacy, said The Daily Mail.
Taking Beyonce's advice, Cooper, 23, put a beautiful diamond ring on 24-year-old Scarlett's finger after almost two years of dating. He also wrote on Instagram along with a post of a collage: "To many more adventures with this lovely lady @scarleybyrne."
The news was also shared by Scarlett on Instagram, posted with the caption: "I was lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend."
After the announcement, Hugh Hefner tweeted his congratulations to the couple and wrote: "Sending love and congratulations to my son Cooper and his fiancee Scarlett on their engagement!"
Us Weekly reported that Cooper flew to London, Scarlett's birthplace, to ask her dad for permission to pop the question, as is the custom among Britons. It was after he got the permission that he got down on his knee to pop the big "Q" to Scarlett.
Celebrations followed at the The Ritz and was attended by the couple's families - including Cooper's grandma. The bride-to-be wore a pink dress and happily clutched her soon-to-be groom while partyin at the Ritz hotel.
"Cooper Hefner is proving to be much less of a Playboy than his father," shared People magazine.
