Many have been shocked to hear rumors that Ed Sheeran and Nicole Scherzinger are purportedly dating.
According to reports, Nicole Scherzinger allegedly credited Ed Sheeran's music for helping her get over her failed relationship with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
The 24-year-old "Thinking Out Loud" singer has reportedly been friends with the 37-year-old former Pussycat Dolls singer for quite some time now.
However, reports claimed that some insiders are purportedly speculating if there's something else brewing between Ed Sheeran and Nicole Scherzinger besides friendship.
"Sheeran is said to have taken Scherzinger, who last year made her West End debut in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Cats, for a date at a pub in his home town of Framlingham, in Suffolk, after they met in London," Telegraph wrote.
"He also invited her backstage when he performed a record three back-to-back shows at Wembley last month."
According to a friend of Ed Sheeran, it may be too early to tell if Ed Sheeran and Nicole Scherzinger would be involved in a full-blown relationship. But there is purportedly no denying that the two have something special going on.
"As far as he's concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he's been open about it with close friends and colleagues," a source reportedly told The Sun, as quoted by Telegraph. "It may not develop beyond those dates but they're definitely tight."
However, some fans are speculating whether the former Pussycat Doll is really into Ed Sheeran, or if she's just using him to make Lewis Hamilton jealous.
Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger split in February. It has been rumored that the celebrity couple broke up because Lewis Hamilton is purportedly not yet ready to settle down.
Lewis Hamilton previously admitted that he felt pressure from family members to marry the former Pussycat Doll.
"But Nicole's massively focused on her work the same as I am," Hamilton explained to E! News in a previous report. "We're happy just way we are."
Lewis Hamilton is now rumored to be dating Rihanna, according to OK! Magazine.
