They seemed to be getting along so well, but MBC has announced that CNBLUE's Lee Jong Hyun and actress Gong Seung Yeon will be leaving "We Got Married." There is no word as to why the stars are ending their virtual marriage or when the final episode will air.

A representative from MBC recently spoke about the couple's departure with the Korean media outlet Newsen.

"It's true that the two stars are dropping out of 'We Got Married.' We are currently working out the schedule for their exit. We haven't taped the final episode yet. We haven't figured out the exact reason why the two are leaving yet."

It could have something to do with her busy schedule. Although Gong Seung Yeon is a relative newcomer, she attracted attention this year when she appeared in the award-winning drama "Heard It Through The Grapevine." She has two new dramas in this works, "Call Me Baby" and the historical drama "Six Flying Dragons."

And Lee Jong Hyun is a musician and an actor. Besides being the lead guitarist and a vocalist with CNBLUE, Lee Jong Hyun recently wrapped up a leading role in the vampire drama "Orange Marmalade" and is considering new casting offers.

The k-celebs became a popular couple during their five-month run on the program, because of their friendly and affectionate interactions.

The couple's virtual marriage ceremony was aired on July 25. The wedding guests included CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa, Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin, Infinite's Sung Kyu and actress Lee Se Young. It was a fun wedding with dancing and games.

Everything seemed to be going well.

On an August 1 episode, they even discussed how many children they wanted to have.

But on the couple's Jeju Island honeymoon, they already had differing impressions of what married life was supposed to be like.

He expressed regrets that she had become too comfortable with him. She said that was the way married life was supposed to be,

"I like that we're comfortable with each other," said Gong on the August 15 episode of the program. "I dreamed of married life being like this."

But she did have her own regrets.

"I'm sad about something too. Before you would tell me I was pretty whenever you looked at me, but these days not so much."

He looked at the ocean and said she was prettier than the view.

It was only a virtual marriage but viewers will miss this appealing couple.
