Calvin Harris should thank Zayn Malik after the former One Direction hottie came at the "Shake it Off" singer on Twitter.

Apparently, when Calvin Harris came like a knight in a shining armor to defend Taylor Swift, that just made the singer love her boyfriend more, said Hollywood Life.

The source alleged, "Taylor is incredibly touched that Calvin stuck his neck out there and defended her. He did it all on his own without Taylor saying anything. He knew the whole Spotify controversy is a real sensitive issue with her and he didn't like Zayn stirring the pot."

The whole feud started when Zayn Malik retweeted a post by a Twitter user comparing Miley Cyrus statement which says that she doesn't need any more money to Taylor Swift's blasting Spotify for stinging on artists.

Calvin Harris got wind of the retweet and called out Zayn Malik as he wrote, "You've made your money? Cool... f*** the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive, right? Yeah f*** em."

He added, "If you don't get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry... then stay out of my f***ing mentions."

The Hollywood Life insider said, "Taylor is just in awe that Calvin would do this. It's made her fall even more in love with him. She's never had this kind of love and support in a relationship before. None of her previous boyfriends had her back like this."

And Taylor Swift is prepared to do something back for boyfriend Calvin Harris the way she knows best. The insider claimed, "She wants to do something special for him to show how appreciative she is. She's been working on a love song for Calvin but couldn't finish it. His heroics might have been just the inspiration she needed."
