Heidi Klum Donald Trump Feud: Billionaire Disses Model To Gain More Popularity?

It seems that Heidi Klum is the latest celebrity dissed by Donald Trump who seemed to have started a feud with the former supermodel for no reason at all.

In a recent interview, Donald Trump defended himself from those who say that he is a misogynist.

"Sometimes I do go a little bit far," the billionaire told The New York Times, before adding: "Heidi Klum. Sadly, she's no longer a 10."

Donald Trump has been in hot water over the last couple of weeks amid his presidential campaign over his purportedly offensive comments against women.

"He has been accused of claiming Megyn Kelly gave him a hard time at the first Republican primary debate debate because she was in her menstrual cycle," Daily Mail recounted.

"And the politician also came under fire for proudly owning up to calling Rosie O'Donnell a 'fat pig' during the debate."

In his interview with The New York Times, the former host of "The Apprentice" explained how he likes to attack.

"I'm a counterpuncher," Trump said. "I can't hit people who don't hit me. Maybe that's my weakness. Perry started it. Lindsey Graham started it. This moron Rand Paul just started it because he is mired in 12th place and he's a U.S. senator."

When asked whether he considered himself a bully, Donald Trump insisted he wasn't.

"Oh, no, the opposite," the businessman replied. "In fact, I'll go a step further. The way to do best with me is to be really nice to me."

Heidi Klum didn't count on "being nice" in responding to Donald Trump's diss. Instead, the mother of four used humor to add fuel to his feud with the billionaire following his comment that she's not longer a 10.

Heidi Klum posted a video on Twitter in response to the businessman's comments.

"In the clip Klum, 42, can be seen wearing a sign that says '10' while being photographed," People reported.

"A man wearing a Trump mask comes up to her and rips off the sign, revealing the number 9.99 written on her shirt."

Despite the negative feedback earned by his comments on women, Donald Trump doesn't seem to be one to care too much about what other people would say, much less think twice about his feud with Heidi Klum. Is this his presidential campaign strategy to get the support of the Republicans and will this strategy work in his favor? Only the polls will be able to answer these questions.
