Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Go Solo: Was The Split Coming?

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have separated after an 11 year-relationship, and a marriage that lasted five years. A source close to the couple revealed to US Magazine that "they decided to separate six months ago."

The Mirror reported that the cracks in the marriage became obvious to fans after Megan Fox stopped accompanying husband, Brian Austin Green on the renovation show "Flipping Out." According to E Online Megan Fox was not expected to be on the show. But fans picked on the couple's public appearances.

The couple couldn't help but gush over one another at the peak of the relationship, shared US Magazine. Megan also told them that "it was magic[al]" when Brian starred in her sitcom "Hope & Faith" in 2004. They got hitched at the Four Seasons in Hawaii, after Green proposed in June 2010.

While going through a rough patch, Megan told Marie Claire UK, "We are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don't try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him". The couple and their sons Noah Green, 2, Bodhi Green, 18 months and Kassius Green (from prior relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil) had moved into a $3.35 million mansion in L.A.

Marriage woes became apparent after Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green romance was plagued by Megan's hectic career. Megan acknowledged she wasn't able to spend adequate time with her kids and her husband. "Brian does not get any intimacy whatsoever," The Mirror reported Fox as saying.

The Daily Mail shared the couple were last spotted holding hands during their lunch date in June at a Beverly Hills restaurant. The actress reportedly was not wearing her wedding ring during public appearances hinting that a split might be forthcoming.

"Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided to take some time apart," a source told People magazine.
