A Donald Trump and Jeb Bush clash has been brewing since August.

Earlier this month, Fox News host Megyn Kelly probed ex-Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush about his allegedly calling Trump an "a------". In response, he shook his head.

"It's not true, but I have said that Mr. Trump's language in divisive," Bush said, according to Fox.

However, an abrupt shift was observed in Jeb's campaigning strategies, after he trailed behind Donald by double digits at the national poles and in New Hampshire.

Later, Donald Trump retorted. He attacked Jeb for a failed Photoshop attempt. Donald said, "He'll never get it right." Apparently, a "Why Jeb?" leaflet had floated around, which portrayed him with a black left hand. Bush's body had also been super-imposed on a picture of Cedar Rapids, said Politico.

"We will never win, we will never win if we are appealing to people's anger each and every day." Bush said, hinting towards the support Donald had gathered with his provocative comments on illegal immigration.

"We will win, we will win when we appeal to their hearts and to their minds and let them believe what I believe to be true. That we truly are on the verge of the greatest time to be alive," reported the International Business Times.

Donald had also criticized South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham and former Governor of Texas, Rick Perry. "They all went down to zero and they're getting out," he said.

"Hispanic Republican voters ultimately care more about policy than a blip on rhetoric," Republican strategist Leslie Sanchez said. She added, "Democrats want to continue to put the focus on Bush and contrast him, but the truth is Bush is strong on putting down cogent policy solutions that can make a difference," reported CNN.

"In a recent poll of 440 likely Republican voters in New Hampshire, Donald Trump and Jeb Bush were at 18% and 13% respectively (well within the error limit of 4.8%)," The Guardian reported.
