Did Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence split?

The tabloid had a heyday speculating after the Coldplay frontman was snapped with a mystery blonde as they were heading back into his New York hotel on Thursday.

"Ever since his shocking split from Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin has been linked to Jennifer Lawrence and Kylie Minogue, and now he's been spotted with a mystery blonde in New York," said Daily Mirror.

The British tabloid continued, "Chris, 38, arrived back to his hotel carrying two bags as the pair heading into the front door."

Daily Mail described Chris Martin's blonde companion, "The mystery woman was effortlessly beautiful in a plunging, wide-leg jumpsuit which buttoned up at the back."

It went on to add, "She wore a cream lace vest top underneath the linen number and teamed her layered ensemble with leopard print wedge sandals. She wore her highlighted tresses in soft natural curls and was unrecognisable in dark oversized sunglasses."

The split report came on the heels of the rumor that Jennifer Lawrence's decision to bring in her mother into her New York condo has caused tension in her relationship with Chris Martin.

Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence's mom, Karen, doesn't think highly of boyfriend Chris Martin.

In Touch magazine alleged that Jennifer Lawrence invited her mom to live with her in the $15-million condo in Tribeca, New York.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" star allegedly told the Coldplay frontman about her decision.

"Jen quickly let him know that one room is reserved for Karen. And that has stirred up lots of old drama," a source told In Touch. "Chris doesn't love Karen because she wanted Jen to get back together with her ex Nicholas Hoult."

"And Karen is wary of how close Chris is to his ex Gwyneth Paltrow. She would lie to see Jen with a younger guy who doesn't come with the baggage of two kids," the insider added.
