Spice Girls will be celebrating their 20th anniversary next year! And what better way to celebrate two decades of girl power songs than a reunion concert?
According to rumors, there are reportedly plans for the group to reunite and perform their songs on stage once again.
However, not all members are purportedly on board for the project. According to a source, Victoria Beckham hasn't committed to the plan yet, and her former Spice Girls co-members, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell are reportedly trying to get her to say yes to the reunion.
Mel B and Mel C are especially trying very hard to convince Posh Spice to commit.
"Mel is not planning on taking no for an answer from Victoria anymore," a source close to Mel C reportedly told Dish Nation.
"For years she has publicly and privately laughed off the notion of a comeback especially after the Olympics. But now Mel has told the other girls that this is a 'one more show and done' type deal.
"This anniversary is realistically the last chance for them to go out as girls. Mel B and C are the driving force, and have tasked the other girls to keep on it with Posh."
The four Spice Girls members are reportedly thinking of ways to get Victoria Beckham to say yes to the reunion - including telling Posh Spice that she'll be singing their songs for her and David Beckham's daughter, Harper.
"One tactic is to say that this would allow Harper the opportunity to see her mom on stage. Victoria has said that she would be interested in doing a documentary about their careers covering everything from the beginning to the Olympics, but singing is not an option," the insider dished out.
"But both of the Mels feel they can change her mind... It would easily generate $30 million. Other offers on the table include a Las Vegas residency and a short UK and European tour," the source dished.
Though the Spice Girls reunion project could possibly still push through with just four members, a lot of fans will love to see their songs performed with all of them complete on stage.
