Charlie Hunnam's girlfriend Morgana McNelis reportedly has a shady past that the "Sons of Anarchy" star is trying hard to bury.
A report from Star Magazine, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, claimed that Charlie Hunnam's girlfriend has been arrested for selling marijuana.
The source alleged, "Charlie's girlfriend was arrested and convicted for running an illegal marijuana collective in California!"
The arrest reportedly occurred in October 2009 when police received a tip that Green Mile Caregivers, which was owned by Morgana McNelis, "was selling marijuana illegally and located near a local high-school in an upscale Woodland Hills area."
And Charlie Hunnam allegedly knew of the arrest as he has been dating Morgana McNelis for two years when she was booked for two days. The couple has together for about a decade now.
Fortunately, Charlie Hunnam's girlfriend was only sentenced to three years of probation, which kept her out of jail.
CDL noted that "Hunnam actually succeeded in keeping the fact that his girlfriend moonlit as a drug dealer quiet. That is, until now."
In a previous interview, Charlie Hunnam said that it's very hard for Morgana McNelis to adjust to the life of a girlfriend of a celebrity.
"Of course, it's difficult being with an actor, you know?" he said. "She is required to share certain parts of me with the world that she wouldn't necessarily choose to do, but we have a great relationship and she loves me and wants to be with me and we've been together a long time now, and I think she understands and has come to terms with the fact that there are certain elements of me that she is going to have to share."
Also, Morgana McNelis, if the report of the marijuana arrest is true, seems to have the a good head around her shoulders nowadays as she even persuaded Charlie Hunnam from making a decision he might regret later on.
As he told Entertainment Tonight, "At the early part of the show ('Sons of Anarchy'), I actually thought maybe I would have it tattooed on me. Thankfully my girlfriend convinced me that that would not be a good idea."
