Nick Jonas has been admired by many in his performance in the first season of the MMA fighter TV drama, "Kingdom."
And now, fans can allegedly expect a bolder, more daring Nick Jonas in "Kingdom" season 2. Apparently, the singer-actor is expected to have gay sex scenes in the second season of the program shown on Direct TV's Audience Network.
"The Season 1 finale ended with Nick's character Nate, who is confused about his sexuality, not being allowed in to a gay bar because he was too drunk," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
"So, he wound up in an alley with another gay man in the middle of the night. 'Kingdom' spoilers tease that the writers are really going there - and we can expect to see Nate get it on in the alley during the Season 2 premiere."
In an interview with Marc Malkin of E! Online, Nick Jonas teased his "Kingdom"
"It's all happening," Nick said during the interview. "He has a lot of layers to him and he's trying to figure out exactly who he is.
"It's tough because he's living and working in a really macho world and I think he's just trying to figure out where he fits in in being who he is. So it is a struggle and I'm trying to tell the story as honestly as possible with as much depth as possible."
Nick also dished out that preparing for "Kingdom" season 2 may not be as taxing as preparing for its first season.
"Last year, I tried to put on 15 pounds of muscle from where I was. But the storyline for the character this year is he goes down a weight class," Nick added.
"I actually had to lean up-keep muscle, but keep it lean and more explosive, more athletic muscle than size. I'm not eating as much as I was. I was probably eating 5,600 calories a day. Now, it's probably closer to 2,000 calories a day."
Aside from preparing for "Kingdom" season 2, Nick Jonas is also busy promoting his new single, "Levels."
