Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin deliver New York City-themed collegiate fashion with the latest styles from the Chinese clothier, Semir. On August 25, Semir published behind-the-scenes footage from ads on their Chinese-language social media including QQ and Weibo.
Semir expressed their enthusiasm for the pictorial and line through their Weibo post. "You have seen the screen shots, but you have certainly not seen the footage, which you will not want to miss," said the company in their August 25 Weibo post.
The campaign features the real-life friends who segued from modeling to roles in successful K-Dramas like "School 2013." In the upcoming pictorial, the actors are joined by Girl's Day members Minah and Yura, who are also spokesmodels for Semir.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Lee Jong Suk is styled in youthful hooded pullovers and zippered sweatshirts. His look contrasts with the classic varsity looks worn by Kim Woo Bin, which evoke imagery of 1950s sports Americana like lettered sweaters and jackets.
Minah and Yura are picturesque girls-next-door with casual, layered looks. In addition to sewn-on letters, the NYC line incorporates retro-inspired elements like snaps and a mix of plaid with athletic wear.
While Kim Woo Bin has chosen to act opposite Miss A's Suzy in a 2016 drama, Lee Jong Suk has yet to designate his next project. He spent most of 2015 promoting his K-Drama, "Pinocchio." Meanwhile, the members of Girl's Day continue to experience the success of their Duble Sidekick-produced album,"Love," which was released in July 2015.
