The latest "Agent Carter" season 2 spoilers revealed that Chad Michael Murray will be reprising his role as Jack Thompson in the coming episode.

Early this week, Murray took to Twitter to confirm his return in the ABC series.

"Morning friends! Get after it. 6 days left on this film here in NM & then back to @AgentCarterTV season 2," he tweeted.

In the first season, as reported by HNGN, Murray's character Thompson and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) spent most of their time arguing. The World War II veteran has always been hesitant of Carter taking the lead. Eventually, the two resolved their issues and Carter gained Thompson's respect.

Meanwhile, "Agent Carter" season 2 spoilers indicated that Carter will be facing Madame Masque in the coming episodes. According to Christian Post, executive producers Tara Butters and Chris Dingess believed that introducing a new female villain was necessary to the show's plot.

"It was essential for Agent Carter to have a female villain to clash with in the coming season, as it introduced several new storytelling opportunities and challenges for the main protagonist," the site reported.

Butters and Dingess, however, held that some fans may be surprised to see the changes in Madame Masque's appearance. The showrunners explained that they have changed her look to complement the series' theme.

"We've made her an actress, which is very Hedy Lamar," Butters told Slash Film.

"She was a '40s siren actress who was also a scientific genius, so that's part of what we're mining with this character."

In the popular comic book series, Madame Masque is armored and is very much skilled in robotics. It is, however, yet to be confirmed if the villain will possess the same traits in the TV series adaptation.
