Recently, Jennifer was promoting her upcoming movie "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2," that would the theatres in November, 2015. In a conversation with the The New York Times, she said that she was writing a screenplay with Amy Schumer. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer revealed they even plan to co-star in it.
Lawrence told the reporters that they would be playing the role of sisters in their upcoming flick. She added that they had already added about a 100 pages to their screenplay, which flowed right out of their hearts.
She considered, Amy and herself as creatively compatible individuals, who had their own take on things. They would start their everyday conversation in a light witty mood and then share their pages of script.
Jennifer also revealed that on the following day, she would be flying to Chicago to meet up with Amy. While there, she hoped to write a bit of her storyline with Amy's sister Kim, who had helped her write 'Trainwreck'.
Jennifer revealed that she had only met Amy a couple of months ago and Amy took the initiative to get better acquainted.
"I emailed her after I saw 'Trainwreck'," said Lawrence. "I don't know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I'm in love with you," Jennifer recalled.
In early August, the two new buddies, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer went for a jet skiing trip together. Even the social networking sites lit up with their vacation photos.
After concluding her interview with The New York times, Jennifer picked up her phone to inform Amy about it. She texted, "I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that O.K.?"
Amy replied, "That you're gay? Totally! It's exciting!"
While the interview did not reveal much about the sisterhood movie, the hilarious texts between Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer were pointing to a strong sense of rapport between the two stars.
